MY BODY. MY VOICE.

In June 2022, the Supreme Court ruled to uphold Mississippi’s ban on abortion at 15 weeks of pregnancy, overturning Roe v. Wade, and ending the federal constitutional right to abortion in the United States.

The overturning of Roe v. Wade is just another step in the decades long fight to prevent people from having access to safe and legal abortions.

The Supreme Court erased nearly 50 years of precedent - rights that were won through activism and legislation over decades. Our hard-earned power to make our own medical decisions was taken away, and over 36 million people of reproductive age over 26 states across the US will no longer have access to safe and legal abortion.

This ruling significantly harms Black, Latino, Indigenous, and other people of color — communities for whom systemic racism has long blocked access to opportunity and health care.

In this critical time, we must gather together to protect the essential human right to reproductive freedom. Now is the time to stand up, fight back, and use your voice. Your voice has power.
